my future self, thank you for

blossoming through the dirt,

treasuring days out for yourself

and not feeling guilty about it,

for honoring your body and nurturing it,

for choosing to lead a life of compassion,

for accepting love and blessings

from all spheres of life

despite a few meltdowns and a hell lot of work,

thank you for going for the night treks,

and summer swims.

thank you for inhaling sweet scents of spring,

and walking in wet grass,

for harnessing a roar for laughter

and crying when you felt like it.

thank you for collecting stories from your travels,

for never taking no for an answer,

for saying YES to opportunities and

committing to your dreams.

you have made them all come true.

your dreams manifest
